THE PLANET UTOPIA
It may prove more efficient and practical to “house” future colonies in artificial or natural caves beneath a planet’s surface than to attempt construction of exposed meteorite-proof domes.
Looking out from the family balcony to the right are the living quarters, topped by the working domes. Dropping below the living quarters are layers of spacious parks, lakes, and wooded areas. The main transportation tube is located on the top layer where a large “rolling road” made up of several conveyor belts geared at different speeds takes our colonists to a central hub. From this hub they may go to the acres of beautiful farmlands and vegetation areas or to the sports area to see or participate in the “Planetary Olympics.” A large observatory is located at top center with main spaceport to the left. Tubeways are available to transport passengers to distant parts of the planet.
